Around the joint is a joint capsule, this is made up of a combination of connective tissues, involving fluid, Tendons and their associated Muscles and a network of local Ligaments; (The Rotator Cuff). There is also a small joint associated with the shoulder made between the collar bone (Clavicle) and the shoulder blade. This together makes the shoulder girdle. The Nerves from the neck supply this joint and its related structures.
